The East Mississippi Drug Task Force made a drug bust in Meridian Friday night. It was the second night in a row.
It happened around 6:00 p.m. this one around 6:00 p.m. in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant on Highway 39 North in Meridian.
Patrick J. Randle, 24, was arrested. Cocaine and cash were confiscated.
"It was relayed to us Mr. Randle was selling drugs in the Meridian area," said Maj. Steve Spears. "After surveillance on Mr. Randle, he was taken down in the parking lot of an establishment on (Hwy.) 39 North."
Officials say the suspect was out of jail on probation on other charges. Randle is now additionally charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
