Gasoline prices rose over the past two weeks for the first time in nearly three months.

It's primarily caused by higher crude oil prices, according to industry analyst Trilby Lundberg, who publishes the Lundberg survey of 7,000 gas stations across the country.

Lundberg says the national average price for all grades of gas rose more than five cents a gallon to $1.87, compared to the prior two weeks.
