A Jasper County jail escapee was captured Wednesday morning in Lauderdale County.
Paul Kelly Brown, Jr., allegedly stole a truck belonging to Jasper County and fled to Lauderdale sometime Tuesday.
The truck was found wrecked on Camp Binachi Road around 4:00 Wednesday morning.
"Later in the morning at approximately 8:00 a.m., at a residence on Grantham Road, which is in the Southeast part of Lauderdale County, Paul Kelly Brown, Jr., and a Kevin Fuller were located in a residence on Grantham Road," said Maj. Ward Calhoun of the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department.
Brown is now in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections in Rankin County.
