Arrest Leads to Conviction

After 20 years on the loose, a man recently located in Sumter County, has been found guilty for a 1982 murder in Kansas.

In February, Robert Henry Lackey, 51, was arrested as a York convenience store on a warrant from Saline County, Kansas.
Lackey was charged in the murder of Sarah Ann Brechiesen.

Sheriff Johnny Hatter said Lackey will be sentenced in January.
