Gov. Haley Barbour announced Thursday that the special session for Momentum Mississippi will be June 28.

Lawmakers didn't approve the governor's proposal during the regular 2005 session or the special session that ended Saturday.

The proposal includes tax credits and other incentives that are designed to create high-tech jobs in Mississippi.

Barbour says he will be willing to expand the call if lawmakers quickly adopt Momentum Mississippi.

House Speaker Billy McCoy says he will spend the next few weeks working with House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Percy Watson and Senate leaders on the proposal.
