Leadership Lauderdale welcomed 26 new members as graduates of the class of 2005 Tuesday morning at MSU Meridian.
The 10-month program is designed to develop a diverse group of leaders within the community.
"Leadership Lauderdale helps provide these individuals with the skills they will need to volunteer for roles in the community, to provide leadership for non-profit organizations, in churches and schools," said Wade Jones, president of the East Mississippi Business Development Corporation. "In order for us to affect change and to make our community a better place to live, we must have leaders."
Leadership Lauderdale is always looking for new members for next year's class. Call the EMBDC at (601) 693-1306 if you're interested in being part of the program.
