Twenty-three-year-old Clarke County escapee Travis Shanks was found Wednesday in Columbus.
Police say they saw Shanks in his car and he looked lost. When they pulled him over, he ran.
Shanks is now in the custody of Columbus, Ohio, police. He is expected to be extradited back to Clarke County in the next couple of days.
Shanks was serving time for a probation violation when he escaped from the Clarke County Jail during visiting hours on July 6.
The probation violation wasn't Shanks' first run-in with the law. He has several assault charges against him, along with trespassing and drug charges.
