An investigation is underway into the cause of a fatal accident in Kemper County.

Around 8:30 p.m. Thursday night, Teresa McRae, 42, of Dekalb, was killed in a one-vehicle accident on Old Scooba Road.

The accident happened just outside the DeKalb city limits. Investigators said it appears McRae lost control of her vehicle and ran off the road. An autopsy was ordered.
