East Mississippi State Hospital held its annual Christmas parade Friday. More than 25 entries paraded through the EMSH ground. Patients enjoyed a variety of floats, bands and treats.
"The purpose of the parade is none other than to give wonderful entertainment to the patients and clients out here," said Bob Smith, a patient advocate at EMSH.
"We look forward to this every year," said Matar McClinton of the EMSH staff. "It does put you in the Christmas spirit and maybe next year it will be bigger and better and greater."
Organizers said this year's parade was one of the best ever.
