'Twas eight days before Christmas
And all through house,
Many children were stirring
All from Wesley House.
Fifty in all, with eyes full of glee,
Their smiles told the story
Of what real fun should be.
With plenty of pizza, candy and fun,
It would seem to many
That the joy had just begun.
When straight through the door,
Who could it be?
But the jolly old elf with gifts,
While Chris sang karoke.
With a bag filled with dolls and trucks a plenty,
It took us hours to assemble that many.
Well, not really. I'm just being silly.
But it was quite a toss even for our boss!
But like all things, this too must come to an end.
But not until we had just one last spin.
Then Jason, Tom, Sidney and John
Stayed until the last children were gone.
Filled with memories of the bright shining faces,
We can't wait until next year's carousel races.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
