A fourth suspect has been charged in the escape of two inmates from the East Mississippi Correctional Facility.
Twenty-three-year-old Kenneth Johnson, an inmate at the prison, has been charged with accessory before-the-fact in the Monday escape of Gregory Malone and Christopher Roy.
The two were apprehended about 24 hours later in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
"Our investigation is continuing at this time. There are other individuals that we're going to be talking with," said Chief Deputy Ward Calhoun. "There may be additional charges filed against additional individuals next week."
A prison employee, Tomeka Brown, also faces a charge of aiding in the escape.
Johnson was already being held at lost gap, serving time for burglary from Lawrence County.
