Investigate
West End Elementary School principal, Judy Ratcliff, has been placed on administrative leave with pay, pending the outcome of an investigation by the state auditor's office.
According to a three-sentence news release from the Central Office, the probe relates to alleged spending irregularities of federal grant funds.
The federal grant funds provide tutorial services, goods, and materials to students.
The news release stated, "It appears at this point, that this employee is the only Meridian Public School District employee involved."
