Updated: Wed 9:54 AM, Jan 15, 2003

The last of four incumbent Lauderdale County Justice Court judges has qualified to seek reelection.

Tuesday, Judge Robbie Robinson announced he would seek a fourth term in office.

"Justice Court gets more cases than any other court," said Robinson. "If elected again, I'm going to continue to do what I've done for the last 12 years and that's work for the citizens of Lauderdale County and my peers of District 2."

Incumbents Jim Edwards, William Gunn and Gerald Wayne Thompson have also qualified to seek reelection.

So far, only Gunn has an opponent. Darrell James Theall, a police detective, is also seeking the District 3 post.

The qualifying deadline is Feb. 28.
