Students at Crestwood Elementary School took a stand for Red Ribbon Week.
"I won’t do drugs," said Benjamin Gathright.
Red Ribbon Week is a national event that teaches children about drugs and encourages them not to use them.
Students took the pledge together Friday around the flagpole.
"I don't want to mess up my life," said Tresean Grice.
At the beginning of the week, each student signed paper hands, representing their stand against drugs. They then took hands home for others to sign, saying they, too, won't use drugs.
