Investigators are ruling a death discovered Tuesday at a local motel a suicide.

A body was discovered Tuesday night at the Western Motel on Highway 11 and 80 around 6:45 p.m.

The manager had tried to call a motel guest for room payment and there was no answer. He then called police, who checked the room and made the discovery.

Due to the circumstances, the man's name is not released.
