Jimmie Rodgers is my Great Uncle. My dad traveled w/ Him NY etc.- My dad & mom loved his music & had a GREAT fondness/love for Elsie McWilliams (my great Aunt)who asst. in writing many of his songs. I remember (as a child) Elvis Presley singing at the "memorial day" & during the eve. in my great aunt's back yard/drive way--of course before his great popularity! Many of the family w/ the great memories have passed away joining J. Rodgers--but it was great FUN!!

Jimmie died four years before I was born,But He was My dads favorite singer, So i got to hear a lot of his records,I have a few treasured 78's and a lot of LP'S But best of all I now have the box set from the bear family it has EVERYTHING Jimmie recorded except-Prohibition Blues-I do not think that exists anywhere, -James Charles Levens, 802W.Berwick st.#2 Easton Pa 18042
