Technology and Gas Prices Send Students Of Virtual Field Trips
Internet-based virtual field trips are becoming more common due to the rising cost of gas.

I found this to be very informative and interesting! At first I was skeptical about the idea of virtual field trips because I, too, value the use of hands-on experience. But I completely agree that, while actual field trips should NOT be replaced, virtual conferencing is definitely a great idea for supplementation. With so many schools removing trips entirely, due to fuel costs, this is something I would like to look deeper into to ensure that my students can get SOME interaction, even if it cannot be in a reality situation.
