Bond has been set at $1 million for a 22-year-old University of Mississippi student accused of stabbing his girlfriend to death.
David Jackson Williams, a senior business major from Olive Branch, remained in the Lafayette County Detention Center this weekend.
Williams is accused of killing 21-year-old Ole Miss senior Demetria Bracey, a 2002 graduate of Murrah High School in Jackson.
University officials said Williams had no history of academic or disciplinary problems.
No memorial service has been planned at the university for Bracey because there will be no class next week for the Thanksgiving holiday.
