THE EMPLOYEES OF RILEY HOSPITAL CONTINUED ADOPTED FOR CHRISTMAS ONE HUNDRED OF THE FOSTER CHILDREN SERVED BY THE WESLEY HOUSE.
THESE YOUNGSTERS ARE IN FOSTER CARE FOR VARIOUS REASONS AND CANNOT BE WITH THEIR FAMILIES.
"This year, we had more than enough. We actually needed more kids to adopt because our employees were just very anxious to buy them gifts and everything. It's just a joy for them to be able to do that and give back to the community and just help those kids that are less fortunate than we are," said Riley marketing director, Courtney Hall.
"Out of the goodness of their hearts, (they) decided to adopt 100 of my children every year and this has been the greatest blessing," said Wesley House executive director, Nell Grissom. "I just can't tell you what a relief that is."
RILEY HOSPITAL'S EMPLOYEES HAVE ADOPTED AT LEAST A HUNDRED CHILDREN EVERY YEAR FOR CHRISTMAS, SINCE STARTING THIS TRADITION SIX YEARS AGO.
