Alabama Sen. Richard Shelby will visit with residents of west Alabama during January.
Shelby will discuss his legislative agenda for the 109th Congress and other issues facing the nation and the state of Alabama. The floor will be opened to questions and comments.
"Over the years, these meetings have provided an excellent opportunity for area residents to listen and voice their opinions on the activities of our government," said Shelby.
The meeting dates and locations are listed below:
Sumter County, Jan. 10, at 1:00 p.m. in council chambers at Livingston City Hall, 201 Church Street
Choctaw County, Jan. 12, at 12:00 noon at Mustard Seed Restaurant, 134 West Church Street in Butler
Marengo County, Jan. 12, at 10:00 a.m. at Tina's Café, 321 North Main Street in Linden.
Shelby has held nearly 1300 county visits since being elected to serve the state of Alabama.
