Principal Resigns Post

There will be a change in leadership for Kemper County High School this year.

Kemper County School Superintendent June Wright confirmed Friday that Principal Melvin Willis resigned recently due to personal reasons.

Newscenter 11 was unable to reach Willis for comment.

Wright said the school board plans to accept the resignation at its meeting Monday morning and then advertise the position.
