Bond was set at $2 million each for a pair of bank robbery suspects in Kemper County.
The suspects in the hold-up of The Citizens Bank of Scooba made an initial court appearance in DeKalb Friday.
Frederick Campbell, 21, of Scooba, and 22-year-old Mark Butler, Jr., from Summit, Miss., are charged with armed robbery.
The two were apprehended in York, Ala., Monday, about an hour after the robbery happened.
"I think we have a very good case with the evidence that we found when we went to Alabama, and with the sworn statement, with the confessions from each person," said Sheriff James Moore.
According to investigators, the two said they committed the robbery because they needed some money. Meanwhile, an investigation into the case is ongoing. It's expected to be presented to a grand jury in October.
Moore said collaborative efforts between the FBI, MBI, Mississippi and Alabama highway patrols, along with Sumter and Kemper County authorities helped crack the case.
"Actually when they crossed state lines, you can get away fast, but you can't outrun a cell phone and a radio," said Moore. "And I just want to thank all of those agencies for jumping in and helping us to bring these two in."
Officials say most of the money was recovered and a gun was confiscated.

WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND
That 2 million dollar bond is crazy. There is no explanation for the bond to be that high. I know murderers and rapists whose bond wasn't even that high. These two are first offenders and are young. Nobody was hurt nor did anyone resist arrest. As a matter a fact, they waited just to make sure no one would be in the bank so that no one would get hurt. There were no hostages or any shots fired. Like the other comment said you can kill, rape, and sell drugs but please, please, dont play with my money.
