Kia Motors may be choosing a Georgia site to locate their next production plant. That's according to a newspaper report Friday.
An unidentified source was quoted as saying Georgia is offering the company better incentives than any other candidate region. However, Kia's Public Relations Office denied the report. Last year Lauderdale County's Kewanee site was named as the front runner for the South Korean auto plant.
Other areas hoping to get the Kia Plant include development sites in Chattanooga, Tennessee - Decatur, Alabama - Hopkinsville, Kentucky - and Aiken, South Carolina.
