"It's sad. I lost my kid. I lost my baby," said Destiny Burge Tuesday.

Burge is talking about Errol, a 4-year-old Irish Wolfhound that she has raised since he was a puppy. At that time, he fit in her hands. Now he is even bigger than Patience, who came to Meridian, along with family friend, Amber Holmes, to help look for Errol.

Errol went missing after Burge's car crashed on Interstate 20/59 near Sam's Club July 4.

"It wasn't until I got into the ICU later on that night that my mom got there and she told me that they hadn't caught him and they weren't sure where he was," said

Burge has been released from the hospital, and after one last night in Meridian, will be heading back to Hope, Arkansas, with only that-- hope, that someone will call telling her where they found Errol.

"He means the world to me," said Burge. "You understand your kids mean the world to you, so I want him back, just like you would want any of your family members back."

Despite being ejected from her car and being pinned underneath, Burge escaped with only a few injuries, from which she will completely recover. But for the time being, she put herself on the back burner, worrying only about her dog.

"You can tell there's pain there, but it just really scares me knowing that he's out there alone," Burge said, fighting back tears. "He hasn't eaten; he hasn't drank water and he doesn't have me there to give him a hug. It just really scares me that he's all alone."

A reward is being offered for anyone who finds Errol.

Anita, did you call the lady about the dog you had seen at Bumpers??? I went out looking myself today but didn't have any luck. My heart hurts knowing that she is without her baby and he is out there alone. I will continue praying that they will find each other soon.
