Church Arson Case Continues

Clarke County investigators say they are close to making an arrest in the recent vandalism case involving a church in Enterprise.

Last month windows at Magnolia United Methodist Church were broken out and two curtains set on fire. The flames were put out when the curtains fell to the floor.

No one was at the church at the time of the incident.

As part of the investigation, matches and other pieces of evidence were found at the scene.

Sheriff Todd Kemp says investigators expect to make an arrest within the next few weeks.
