Six Flags New Orleans, which sustained heavy damage during Hurricane Katrina, will remain closed for the 2006 season.
Spokeswoman Ann Wills says the flooding the park sustained was so bad, it may never reopen.
Six Flags says it is working with its insurers to assess the full extent of the damage.
Six Flags, which took over the park formerly known as JazzLand after it filed for bankruptcy in 2002, runs 30 theme parks in North America. It has corporate offices in Oklahoma City and New York.
