The Meridian/Lauderdale County Miss Hospitality Pageant will be held on Mar. 25 at McCain Theater on the campus of Meridian Community College.
Three young women from the area will be competing for the title of Meridian/Lauderdale County Miss Hospitality.
The winner will advance to the state Miss Hospitality Pageant held in Hattiesburg July 14-15, 2006, and serve as an ambassador for Meridian/Lauderdale County.
The local contestants will be judged on a panel interview, individual interviews with each judge, a Mississippi speech and a hometown speech.
The three contestants competing in the 2006 Meridian/Lauderdale County Miss Hospitality Pageant are Rachel Rutledge, Meridian Community College; Erien Watson, Mississippi State University and Heather Lewis, West Lauderdale High School.
