A prison escapee from south Mississippi was caught Friday on the Choctaw Indian reservation.

Mississippi Department of Corrections officials say Michael Cain escaped earlier from the Marion/Walthall Regional Correctional Facility in Columbia, Miss.

Cain was captured by Choctaw police in a home on the reservation.

He had been serving a ten-year sentence on carjacking charges. He's now charged with escape.
