Two Charged in Sumter Arson-Burglaries

The Sumter County Sheriff's Office and Livingston Police Department have made two arrests they say solve an arson case and several burglaries.

The arson happened at the Emelle Post Office May 10. A third person is being held as a possible accomplice.

Milford Gaines, 19, of Livingston, and 28-year-old Michael Williams, of Coatopa, are also charged with multiple counts of burglary.

Several hunting camps, vehicles, and businesses were targeted.
