Meridian police so far have not filed charges in a shooting incident. Detectives responded to the 1600 block of 28th Avenue Wednesday afternoon, following a report of a shooting.
"There they found a man who had been shot in the lower torso. He was transported to a hospital by ambulance. He is in stable condition at the hospital," said detective Dean Harper of the Meridian Police Department. "The suspect has already been interviewed by the police. The investigation is ongoing."
