The suspects in the Bonita BP murder and robbery were returned to Meridian Thursday to face charges in the death of station owner, Mohamed Alnazaili of Meridian.

Their appearance was much different from the pictures initially released to the media.

20-year-old Izola McMillon and 25 year-old Derrick Williams, both of Chicago,
opted not to give statements to Meridian police investigators.

"We're still actively talking to them, and we don't know what the outcome is going to be," said Lt. James Sharpe.

Police say McMillon had been employed at the store for a week when Alnazaili was killed, and that the pair was in Meridian for about a month. Authorities suspect McMillon helped set up the murder.

Police say these suspects have been formally charged with three felony charges of capital murder, armed robbery, and motor vehicle theft. With that capital murder charge alone, both could face the death penalty.

At this time, McMillon and Williams are being held without a bond. And. Lt. Sharpe says there's a chance they won't get a bond because of the nature of the charges. Both will appear before a judge for a preliminary hearing.
