The Mississippi Counseling Association held its first spring conference Friday in Meridian.
The group discussed topics such as child abuse, depression, and general technology that can aid graduate students.
"We want to be able to reach as many people in the community, let them know what kind of services are available because we do have some exhibits in the exhibition hall. We also want to encourage kids to get back in school," said Hollis Hall, who organized the conference.
Hollis said the exhibits provided information for students who desire to go on doctoral school.
