Thank you so much for covering this important story! Please let deer hunters know what he looks like, if he is still out there when deer hunting season begins, and beg them to be careful and not mistake him for a deer. Thank you for all you have done and are doing to reunite this special boy with his loving family!

Thank you so much for your continuing dedication to helping Errol and Destiny be reunited. I continue to be amazed at the efforts WTOK has made to help a young lady and her best friend. With gun season for deer coming up your efforts are even more appreciated as it would be easy to mistake Errol for a deer. Only those of us fortunate enough to have a wolfie can even begin to understand the bond it is possible to develope with these dogs. I am your biggest fan in Alabama, and mention your station's commitment to public service to anyone who will listen. Again, many thanks to all of you at WTOK.

Thank you for keeping this an on going story. We,Irish Wolfhound owners, lovers, have been following this story, it is so tragic that this dog has been sighted, that his young owner who has been so badly injured & spiritually needs the comfort, still hasn't been able to bring him home! This such a sweet, gentle breed, he too must be suffering.. Please, those who are there, help to bring the owner & her hound together, finally. I live in that area...In the past two weeks, I've noticed a "pack" of dogs on the loose! I'll keep an eye out in case "Errol" is running with them! (maybe so!)

Thank you for your efforts in keeping the story of Errol the Irish Wolfhound in front of the public. Anyone who has ever lost a pet knows the heartache of that kind of loss. Recent reports of sightings keep hope alive that he will soon be rescued. He is apparently frightened by the accident and his unfamiliar surroundings, but Wolfhounds are kind and gentle animals so anyone seeing him need not be afraid to try to coax him into a safe place. All IW people appreciate your kindness and that of the Meridian community. Thank you!

It's so nice that your station is continually making the public aware of Errol's situation. "My hat's off to ya"...and as a former devoted searcher for him i'm everso happy that your news staff is greatly helping bring the posibility of his capture closer to an end...his family and extended family (the local searchers) need all the help they can get to safely rescue him. I've recently moved back to Fort Worth, Texas and cannot help in a continued direct way, but I'm so thankful that you are. I think it is just phenomenal that WTOK has continued to cover this story over these past few months. I think their coverage will have a huge part in bringing Errol home to his family who loves and misses him so very much! WTOK is speaking volumes for the community & how caring the people there are.

I have been following this story since the begining and have not given up on the search for Errol. I am pleased that WTOK and the wonderful people of Meridan share my thoughts of not giving up on this fight for him. Hopefully there will be a happy ending for all of ussoon. Thanks so much to WTOK for keeping Errol's search in front of the public. We are trying so hard to get Errol before deer season starts (gun season) as he is the right size and color to be mistaken for a deer. Destiny and I and the rest of Errol's family are so grateful to the people of Meridian for their continued help especially our tireless local searchers.We do not know what we would do without them. THANK YOU News Center 11 for giving the ongoing search for Errol additional coverage. Errol's sweet and gentle spirit is much larger than his physical size and he needs to be back home with those who love him. Good thoughts sent Errol's way that he is soon recovered and reunited with his family.

Errol has definitely been seen in the Long Creek/George Butler Road area as recently as a few days ago. It's great that WTOK reminds everyone to keep an eye out for Errol. Finding him has become a cause celebre for people from Washington State to Auckland, but no one is giving up on him--not his family, not their friends, and not the wonderful folks in Meridian who are out there looking every day.

Errol is still being seen on George Butler Road. Footprints are being found in the area too. Local searchers are out daily looking for Errol. We feel that he is in the woods between 19S and George Butler Road. We are hopeful that hunters in the area may see him. Please call with any sightings.

There is a male Irish Wolfhound at the memphis Humane Society on Farm Road. Beautiful dog, but very sad. Could it be Errol?
Errol was seen again on George Butler Road on Nov. 14. He has not been caught yet.
Has Errol been found? As a Wolfhound owner up in Tupelo my heart breaks for Errol and his family. If my Gus were missing I would be frantic!! You're in my prayers.

When Errol is found a story needs to be written and published about this heroic effort. I learned of Errol almost by accident because somebody in Portland Oregon found a cream colored Irish Wolfhound and I knew that whoever owned a dog that special would have posted something on the web to get it back. In searching for lost or missing wolfhounds I found out about Errol. Sadly the wolfhound in Portland was not a match. I have followed the story since late July believing in a happy ending. Bring Errol home!
Dear Staff, I am following the search for Errol from Alaska and think it is just wonderful that your station is willing to help out! This also sets an example for pet owners on how serious Errol's owner and her friends take his wellbeing and how cherished he is. Not just a dog, like many people may still about their canine friend. What about posting short weekly updates...? This would help the searchers for Errol as more people keep an eye out for him but it also brings the importance of responsible dog ownership to awareness.
