Wal-Mart is recalling about 64,000 fabric lanterns because the fabric is not flame-retardant and can be ignited by the lantern's candle.
The Bentonville-based retailer has not received any reports of incidents or injuries involving the lantern.
The recalled cylinder-shaped lanterns are seven and one-half inches high and six inches wide. They are covered with beige fabric with red and green floral designs.
The lanterns were sold at Wal-Mart stores nationwide from December 2002 to March 2003 for about $3.00.
Consumers can return the lanterns to any Wal-Mart store for a refund or contact the company at 1-800-925-6278 for more information.
