A fundraising concert was held at Clarkdale attendance center Friday to support Relay for Life.
Clarkdale students were charged a dollar each to get in the door.
Carrie Latham explained what prompted the effort to raise money.
"Originally this team was formed to honor Cami Hurd who was a teacher out here that was diagnosed with cancer," said Latham. "Since then they've had some others that have been diagnosed so we've expanded the team and dedicated it to more than just Cami."
The proceeds are going to the Clarkdale Crusaders Relay team. The Relay for Life event is on June 6 at Ray Stadium.
