Meridian police are searching for two black males who robbed the Texaco station at 46th Avenue and 8th Street Tuesday night.

A clerk and a customer were in the store when the men, wearing ski masks, pulled revolvers and escaped with an undetermined amount of cash.

"One was 5'8", roughly 130 pounds, wearing a black shirt, black jeans. The other was roughly 6 feet tall, about 200 pounds, wearing black shirt and blue jeans," said Jackson.

Earlier Wednesday, a patrol officer saw two people allegedly stealing a lawn mower from the sears parking lot.

George Johnson, 34, was charged with petit larceny. Another suspect remained at large.
