Accident - Body Found

Terri Lynn Milstead Cook, 42, was reported missing by her family over the weekend. It was not known until Monday that she was involved in a wreck and was ejected from her vehicle.

Cook's body was found off Highway 11 near the Lauderdale-Clarke County line.

Cook was described by her principal as a good teacher at Southeast Lauderdale High School.

"I think her work ethic, I think it would've, if we had an opportunity for it to rub off on many of our students. Because as I mentioned she worked very hard and did a fantastic job and was off to a great start at our school," said Billy Burnham.

Cook taught pre-algebra and geometry at Southeast. She had taught previously in the Lauderdale County school district, but this was her first year on that campus.
