The body of Concetta Cron, 16, of Union was found Wednesday morning at Lake Okatibbee. Rescue workers discovered the body at approximately 6:10 a.m. Cron fell overboard Monday evening while fishing with her father and a family friend.
"The Fish and Game folks are investigating the boating accident itself," said Sollie. "They have not concluded their investigation of the boating accident itself, but it appears the boat may have struck a wave, causing at least one of the occupants to fall from the boat."
Sheriff Sollie added that it appears the boat's propeller struck the girl when she fell overboard.
She was not wearing a life jacket.
