Mississippi's third district Cong. Chip Pickering has again put off making public his plans for the future.

His office said last week he would announce Monday whether he will stay in congress or take a $1 million a year lobbying job for cellular telecommunications and internet association. The job becomes available at the end of the year.

Pickering spokesman, Brian Perry, said the congressman will have a news conference Wednesday in Jackson.

Pickering appeared in Philadelphia Saturday, but refused to take questions from the media.
