The Choctaw tribe will vote Tuesday in the race for chief.
Chief Phillip Martin, 77, has three challengers: Bobby Thompson, Linda Farve and Kennith H. York. Martin has served six consecutive terms.
Since Martin was first elected in 1979, the tribe has opened more than two-dozen businesses. The largest is the $600 million Pearl River Resort, which includes two hotel-casinos, a water park, lake and white sands beach.
Tribal members have predicted Martin will win easily.
