The Mississippi Department of Transportation has made another effort to prevent accidents at the intersection of Highway 45 and 145, south of Meridian.
MDOT has cut down a hill to increase visibility of oncoming traffic.
However, Clarke County Sheriff Todd Kemp points out that since flashing lights were installed at that location, there have already been three more accidents there.
