The city of Newton, Miss., is hosting its annual Loose Caboose Festival through Saturday in downtown.

Officials expect 20,000 people will visit the town over a 2-day period.

A talent contest was held Friday night. The fun continues Saturday as downtown streets are closed to vehicle traffic and vendors offer their wares for sale.

Other activities include a car/truck and motorcycle show, Memphis BBQ Contest, and 5K run.

This is a free event open to the public from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
