A concerned resident of Dalewood addressed Lauderdale County supervisors Tuesday.
Raymond Huffmaster said that something needs to be done about the pipes that are being used for a new sewer system at Dalewood shores.
Huffmaster said the pipes are not big enough.
"All of the sewer line I've seen was at least 4 inches and this is an inch and a half pipe. Of course, it's supposed to go into a grinding situation and leave out going through this pipe," Huffmaster said. "But if you don't have power, if your power goes off, what do you do? You'll have to live with it, that's it."
District 2 supervisor Jimmie Smith told NewsCenter 11 that the sewer project is being handled privately by the Dalewood Homeowners Association.
