Thirty-eight-year-old Dianne Tucker was released from jail Wednesday. She had served one year behind bars. The judge handling the case said it was the "just and reasonable," thing to do.
A recent medical examination showed that at the time of the alleged murder, Tucker's sister, Victoria Banks, could not conceive.
Defense attorneys argue that Tucker, her sister and her sister's estranged husband, Medell Banks all suffer from mental disorders and therefore were coerced to plead guilty to manslaughter. All were sentenced to 15-years in prison.
With her release, Tucker will be home in time to see her 77-year-old father, who is under hospice care dying from cancer.
