A two vehicle accident at 8th Street and 24th Avenue in Meridian Tuesday afternoon sent two people to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The Jaws of Life was used on one vehicle to remove the victim.
The accident happened around 2:00 p.m.
Meanwhile, a 19-year-old-female and a one month old baby were taken to the hospital after an unrelated mishap around 3:30 p.m.
Two vehicles collided in front of Wendy's on 8th Street.
Injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
The causes of both accidents are under investigation by the Meridian Police Department.
