A Lauderdale County jury found Kirby Glenn Tate guilty on two drug charges.
The circuit court jury deliberated for about two hours, after hearing closing arguments late Friday afternoon.
Because of Tate's habitual offender status, he could get double the maximum of 30 years on each count.
Tate was arrested at his home in March 2003 for allegedly possessing over two pounds of marijuana with intent to distribute.
Tate will be sentenced in several weeks.
