Police are asking for help from the public in solving a Waynesboro armed robbery case.

The armed robbery occurred around 6:30 p.m. Sunday night at the Exxon station on Mississippi Drive.

Investigators say a lone black male allegedly robbed the store and got away with several hundred dollars. No one was hurt.

According to witnesses, the suspect left the scene in a gold, four-door Chevrolet.
