We are a group of christian indians of chickasaw and choctaw descent. We are planning to visit the Choctaw fair in 2010. During, our visit we would like to come and sing our choctaw tribal hymns at one of the churches in Mississippi, during the time we will be at the fair. We will be paying for our own expenses to and from the fair. all we are hoping for is to share our way of singing tribal hymns with other christians. we would like this to be a part of the reason we are going to Mississippi. I am hoping that someone will respond to my request for us a part of their spiritual felllowship.

Well, the first night of the Choctaw Fair is over and we have a newly crowned Choctaw Princess. Maybe, this time around, there were no manipulative action taken on the part of the Choctaw Princess Pageant Committee. Last year's was a big disappointment that will not be forgotten. However, we must move forward and we will with this new Princess who comes from a Christian family. I honestly believe this years princess earned the rights and honor that comes with the prestigous title of Choctaw Indian Princess. Congratulations Famie!
