Some people just don't get it! He asked you to get out of the mayors race just to better the chances of Cheri Barry winning mayor from the republican party...shaking my head.

Bill Marcy may be a wonderful person. Has he really been in the area long enough to represent the people of District 82? Its really not important if the Hon. Haley Barbor endorces a black candidate or not its more the issue of Haley endorsing another Republican to further cement his control of both houses of the MS legislature. District 82 is a Democratic seat and we must get out and vote to see that it remains Democratic. As for receiving the endorsement of Charles Evers, a more self promoting oportunist has not been on the scene in MS Politics. You can see the success of his leadership simply by driving through the town of Fayette today. In his Bio Evers admits to having mob connections. Are those ties ever broken? After C. Evers ran for governor as an independant and he joined the Republican party and cashed in greatly on Republican Pork, none of which did very much lasting good for the town of Fayette. You might not know this type of thing if you just moved to the State.
