UNOFFICIAL Results
12 of the 12 precincts reporting
100% of all votes including absentee ballots
Democratic candidate Wilbert Jones is leading with 1664 votes, which is 64% of the total votes.
Republican candidate Bill Marcy has received 920 votes, which is 36% of the total votes.

Mr. Jones is clearly the best choice. He is armed with education (Alcorn & MS State graduate) and knowledge from experience. I listened to him answer questions in a forum. Mr. Jones demonstrated a vast amount of knowledge that was commensurate with his education and experience. I am very pleased with this election outcome. Best Regards,

I do not understand how people vote in a person who can not speak in public. Mr. Jone will have a short stay in public office. He is now the new do boy for the Young's.

people were told to vote for "chosen one" i thought the ofce belong to the people. how long will people be told or take a hot dog for their vote. i congratlate mr. jones but wonder if peiple even think about who they votefor.
